Sleep Train Amphitheatre Chula Vista

Situated in what once was open fields and a dairy farm, the 72 acres homing the Chula Vista Amphitheatre was previously developed in to an industrial park before rebuilding in to the amphitheatre. The amphitheatre first opened in 1998 and was called the Coors Amphitheatre, a month later it held it's first sell out concert when it hosted the Spice Girls.

In April 2008 naming rights to the venue were bought by Cricket Communications and the amphitheatre was renamed to the Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre.

The naming rights were purchased once again in January 2013 by the mattress firm, Sleep Train who signed a five year deal.
